FLISR Expands Third-Party Device Support
You now have more flexibility in how you deploy a fault location, isolation, and service restoration (FLISR) solution using the SEL Blueframe platform. Recent enhancements to FLISR include:
Expanded Support for Third-Party Field Devices
FLISR now supports devices that do not have fault latches, such as the S&C IntelliRupter. Users can map an overcurrent bit into FLISR to set the OverCurrentReported fault bit.
Communication Over Low-Bandwidth Networks
We’ve improved communication flexibility by allowing for extended integrity poll rates, enabling FLISR to support lower-bandwidth systems.
Increased Insight for Loss-of-Source Events
FLISR now offers increased insight for loss-of-source events. With this enhancement, users can configure their systems to respond differently whether a loss-of-source event is a three-phase or any-phase event.
